I’m so grateful you’re here! Launching Purple Teeth Club has been a dream of mine for over two years, and I finally made it a reality. My story in the wine industry began right after graduating from UC Merced when I stumbled upon an amazing internship opportunity with an incredible winery. After almost six years with that company, I spent two months working a harvest abroad in Marlborough, New Zealand. Since then, I have resumed my career here on the lovely Central Coast of California for my eighth vintage. My experience lies on the production side, specifically in lab and winemaking roles. My favorite part of the job is tasting juice and wine samples, and watching a certain wine lot develop over time—from checking vineyards throughout development, to when the grapes arrive at the crush pad, to when it’s finally bottled. I LOVE sharing wine with family and friends (especially wines I’ve had a hand in crafting) over flavorful dishes and great conversation. In my spare time, I also enjoy making sourdough bread, trying new recipes, traveling with my husband, and hiking with our feisty Mini Schnauzer named Belle.

This blog was created to provide tools for wine drinkers at every level, and make wine more approachable and enjoyable. I firmly believe that there is no room for intimidation or pretentiousness here, and welcome anyone who wants to join me on my journey of exploring the Central Coast.
